Designing a Curated Spirits Experience from the Ground Up

Vespr Spirits is a modern, design-led subscription service that makes discovering quality spirits effortless. The project brief called for building a complete brand identity, customer acquisition system, and personalised subscription experience, from visual identity and tone of voice through to a taste profile questionnaire and tiered subscription model. The challenge was to create something that felt genuinely premium and curated without being pretentious or exclusionary, and to do so in a way that could be tested and validated as an MVP before full-scale build.

Brand, Experience, and a System Built to Scale

The Vespr Spirits project explored the full arc of a modern consumer brand, from strategic positioning and tone of voice through to UX design, customer journey mapping, and a formula-driven subscription recommendation engine. Built initially as an MVP to test market demand, the brand system was designed to grow: from a concierge-style curation service into a fully packaged subscription platform. Every decision; visual, verbal, structural, was made with the end customer in mind: someone who values good taste, values their time, and wants a drink that feels like theirs.
